Training Bats

Training time has always been the most fun to me, there are no jitters, frustrations are just things you work through, you experiment on what feels right, what swings you can make work on days when you are tired, sore, working through injuries, etc. there aren't any scouts, coaches analyzing everything, it's time for me, my time, my training, my time to work on my game, my time to improve, my time to focus, Baseball training is my happy time with friends & Teammates.

The older you get, the harder it is to get those guys together.  Sandlot players of yesteryear may be a thing of the past, but get your guys to the field, to the backyard cages, to the old facilities, & the new ones, talk the game, love the game, marvel at the players that are making a name for themselves today.  And maybe, one day, those who saw you play will say, "Wow, I remember him being so clutch."  "Man that guy was even a better fielder than he was a hitter, & he was a great hitter, his teammates loved him, and his opponents circled him on the lineup card."

"I wasn't the most physically gifted player, I worked hard, I loved the game, it didn't always love me back.  I had a lot of injuries, a lot of struggles, but I've also had a lot of hits, a lot of wins, a few division championships, and league championships, made a lot of friends, and I'm happy to be recognized as a Ballplayer.    Perhaps my favorite memory of playing in college was when I was a freshman, a senior player who went on to play professional baseball said, "Great things happen when Biondo's in the game."

I wish I could claim that I was the hardest worker, I've seen more dedicated guys, they are called pros!

Training Year Round

 is

No Longer an Option,

It's a requirement

It's called "hardball" for a reason, if it wasn't hard, it wouldn't be rewarding when we achieve success.  It's said that every player has their day in the sun, the days when 3-3 seemed likely & on those special days, it even felt easy, it wasn't easy though, you put in the work so you could put on a show.  The harder you work, the luckier you get!

There are too many people trying to get into the business of baseball because of the dollars spent in youth & collegiate training.  There are differentiating opinions on EVERYTHING in baseball from statistical values of certain metrics, to who's team performs better in certain situations, to which players from previous generations would be able to be elite in today's more athletic, more trained, more lucrative, competitive environment.  (When Ted Williams was asked what he'd hit vs. pitching back in the 90s, he jokingly responded, oh, probably about .300.  The broadcaster, responed, "Really, that's it?"  Teddy ballgame responded, "Well, you gotta understand, I'm 72 years old.")

Ballplayers recognize ballplayers, experienced players + coaches understand the difference between swing coaches & the feel vs. real crowd.  If your coach isn't telling you to swing down to the ball, keep your barrel in the zone & drive through the ball, it's time to find yourself a new coach.

If your coach has a different gimmick or training device every few weeks, it's time to find a new instructor.

We believe in passing along the best advice and best coaching to players of all ages from little league through adult baseball leagues across the country.  If you are looking for a hitting, pitching, or fielding coach in your area, please drop us a line and we will provide you with a list of REAL Baseball Coaches, Instructors, & Trainers in your area.  They may be former PRos, they may Just be Bros that actually know the game.  They won't be gimmicky, they won't try to sell you snake oil, or tell you they can promise to get you a scholarship or get you drafted.
